Demo Submission (Please Read)

UGMG is by no means genre specific and we welcome all types of new music. We encourage this open submission policy and trust that you as an artist or songwriter feel ready to take on the challenges that lay ahead in the music industry. Please understand that it may not always be an immediate process for our A&R's to review your material and offer substantial feedback. Keeping material to a minimum is best and it allows for us to concentrate on your key tracks.

What is Demo Submission?
A demo submission is the process where an artist will find a record label company to send their demo to in the hopes of "getting signed" (receiving a record, publishing, or distribution deal).

Demo Submission fee
To ensure that we receive serious submissions only and because of the very elaborate, detailed, thorough, and lengthy process of demo review, a $5 demo submission fee is required per song in order for our A&R's to review your submissions.

Free Publicity for a Day with Every song you submit.
Best of all, with every song you submit to our office for review, UGMG will provide you or your band with (1) one FREE day of web publicity. This includes social marketing on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc. as well as press release distribution and finally an eBlast to thousands of UGMG contacts. If you have an upcoming concert or release coming up, this will be perfect for you.

Your demo will be reviewed by our A&R department and we will inform you whether or not your demo has been selected to be shopped for placement opportunities, record deals, distribution deals, publishing deals, and/or production deals within approximately seven business days from the moment we receive your demo submission.

Demos that include more than one song have higher chances of being selected for a record deal Sending more than one song at a time helps us learn more about you as an artist. The song that you might not think will land you a record deal most probably will.

Demo submissions are currently being accepted by U.S. mail and via email form which will be made available to you once your demo submission payment has been received.

If you are sending via U.S. mail, send your contact info, bio & (1) one CD which should include all of the tracks you are submitting. Please be sure that all contact information is legible and include an email address. DO NOT SEND CASH. Please make cashier's check out to Urb Garden Music
